As a jingle singer in Nashville, I compiled a GREAT demo tape of jingles I had done using a childs voice. When I moved back to LA, a cartoon director whom I had previously contacted, made a call to ICM (an agency here in LA) on my behalf. They immediately signed me and I have been with that agency for the past 15 years. The agency is now DPN.

The first thing that I always recommend is, if you are an actor, start by taking a class in voiceover. If you are not an actor, then it would be best to start with a beginning acting class. It helps if you live in a media city like New York, Los Angeles or Chicago where a lot of commercials & animation is recorded. THEN, put together a great DEMO CD and get an agent. Voiceover is just one of many avenues that an actor's may choose to pursue. Good luck!

I'm thrilled with my life so far. I love my house, I love my husband, I love my work, I love my music, I love my dogs and chickens, I love my family. And I am grateful for everything.
I wrote my first children's song when I was 9 years old, called "My Dog's My Buddy". You can hear it on my cd "What A Way To Play!". I love singing children's music and really enjoy performing live in front of kids. That's what I call REAL fun! I always continue to write new songs.
